On Sunday, May 1st, fashionistas will gather at a beautiful private Rancho Santa Fe estate to bid on a stunning array of new and “gently-loved” designer handbags to benefit the FACE Foundation.
Over 150 beautiful handbags have been donated! Bidding begins at a fraction of retail value, so expect great deals. They’ve collected brands such as Prada, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga, Marc Jacobs, Dolce & Gabanna, Fendi... just to name a few! FACE will continue to accept donations of bags until the week before the event.
The event will also feature great deals on fine jewelry. Jewelry designers Kazanjian Brothers, Norman Covan, Rhonda Faber-Green, and Patricia Robalino will also be on hand offering stunning original creations for purchase. Each jeweler will provide at least one item for a raffle drawing. One of the raffle items is a beautiful diamond tennis bracelet valued at over $6,000. Raffle Tickets are 3 for $25 or 15 for $100 and may be purchased in advance. Winners need not be present to win.
Attendees will turn their fabulous fashion sense into dollars and cents for the FACE Foundation, supporting pets in dire need of life-saving veterinary care. Mothers, daughters, spouses and friends are all invited to this elegant affair. Delicious wines, teas, and appetizers will be served while guests shop for a good cause. Jewelry models, designers, and fashionistas will mingle and bid on an impressive array of finery.
Youth Co-Chair Maranda Phillips, 12, is being recognized for raising $5,500 for the FACE Foundation through sales of her homemade holiday decorations. Special activities will cater to even the youngest of the fashion savy. Three hair stylists will be on hand adding flair to hair with rhinestones, feathers and tinsel.

About the FACE Foundation: Established in 2006 by veterinarians and community members, The Foundation for Animal Care and Education (FACE) is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) public charity, whose mission is to enhance and preserve the quality of life of animals. In what is being labeled as “economic euthanasia,” beloved companions are left to suffer or are euthanized when their owner cannot afford the often-unexpected cost of life saving veterinary treatment.
